From the Fallout Shelter 2020-21

Run by a mostly student-run staff, Penn State Harrisburg creates a literary arts magazine every year highlighting creative works submitted by Penn State Harrisburg students. The magazine, titled “From the Fallout Shelter,” highlights essays, works of prose, poetry, photography and artwork. All selections in the magazine are chosen anonymously by the reading boards and editorial staff, comprised entirely of students.

The 2020-2021 edition was designed by our creative team at Colortech. We worked closely with the magazine staff to determine the order the works should appear in the book and how the works needed to be laid out to fit the artists’ and writers’ visions.

After the final design was approved, Colortech printed the books in a perfect-bound format to make them easy to flip through and read.
